Is-sinjal għal DAQQ TA’ STRUMENT MUŻIKALI għandu żewġ partijiet. L-ewwel, iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 1 livell mal-għonq bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. Il-werrejja jinżlu ftit lejn il-ġenb f’linja kkurvata ftit ’il bogħod minn xulxin waqt li jduru biex il-pala tiġi tħares ’l isfel u jerġgħu jitilgħu ’l fuq ħdejn xulxin. Imbagħad, fil-pront, jergħu jinżlu ’l isfel lejn il-ġenb waqt li l-werrejja jiltaqgħu u jitbiegħdu ftit, moviment li jixbaħ ftit dak tas-surmast tal-orkestra waqt li jidderiġi l-mużiċisti.

The sign for PLAYING A MUSICAL INSTRUMENT has two parts. First, both hands take the shape of 1 at neck level with the palms facing inwards. The index fingers move down a little towards the side in a curved line away from each other whilst they turn so that the palm now faces downwards. Then they move back up towards each other. The second part is made immediately as they move down again towards the side whilst the index fingers meet and move away a little, a movement resembling that of an orchestra conductor directing the musicians.
